CES 2023 was again jointly held by the GIoCT and the OECD Centre for Educational Research and Innovation (CERI).
The Creativity in Education Summit 2023 was again co-held between GIoCT and the OECD Centre for Educational Research and Innovation (CERI).
The major highlight this year was launching the OECD Professional Learning Framework for Creativity and Critical Thinking (PLCCT) programme, an initiative that seeks to enhance the teaching of creative thinking skills in schools across the world. The Summit aimed to empower educators and learners to thrive in the age of creativity and innovation so that together, they may shape the future of education for generations to come.
Furthermore, The International Creativity in Education Awards were announced and 2023 marked the first year of CES becoming part of the the International Creative Thinking in Schools Week, extending the reach of the work being done to enhance creativity integration into school curricula by both teachers and school leaders.

The goal of CERI is to produce work that is thoroughly integrated with empirical analysis and innovation awareness, with specific emphasis on accumulating statistical evidence and developing key indicators to solidify its research work.
